Mr. Pandey joined Nepal Indosuez Bank in 1988 and was the Head of the International Banking Department. In 1992, he joined Himalayan Bank, and worked as the Head of the Credit Department. In 2002, Mr. Pandey joined Nepal Investment Bank Limited as its Deputy General Manager. Today, he serves as the CEO of Nepal Investment Bank Limited. In 2011, he was nominated and appointed by Nepal Investment Bank as the Chairman of its subsidiary, NIBL Capital Markets Limited.
Mr. Tibrewal is a registered Chartered Accountant and holds a DISA degree from India. He has an extensive experience in the field of accounts and finance. He served Deloitte Haskins & Sells, a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, UK, as an Assistant Manager of the audit department for around 2 years. In 2003, he joined Nepal Investment Bank Limited as a Head of Internal Audit and Compliance and now serves as the Head of Accounts and Finance. He has over 10 years of experience in accounts, finance, taxation and audit.
Ms. Bandana Thapa, having extensive experience in Nepal Investment Bank, is currently leading Compliance Department of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. She has cumulative experience of 24 years in Nepal Investment Bank in different fields and has thorough knowledge and understanding of Nepal banking legislation, rules and regulation and relation with international corresponding banks. Her major achievement as a Head of Compliance was establishment of Compliance Department of NIBL. Moreover, she was branch manager of Battisputali Branch from 2008 to 2014 where she led the branch in top position in terms of new deposits, diversified portfolio and wide customer base. Furthermore, she is also a member of Board of Director of Sajha Yatayat since 2011.
Mr. Rabindra Bhattarai is a faculty member of Shanker Dev Campus and is affiliated with Canvas International College, Nepal Commerce Campus and United College. He was also the director of Sagarmatha Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd. He received his MBA from Tribhuwan University.
Mr. Pandé holds a Master degree in Financial Economics from University of St Andrews, United Kingdom. After completing his Master degree he started his professional career in 2005 as a Development Consultancy at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Emerging Markets Group. In 2007, he joined Nepal Investment Bank Limited as a Management Trainee and over the course of time he served as a Head of Economic Research and Business Development Department. In 2012, he was nominated and appointed by Nepal Investment Bank as the Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, NIBL Capital Markets Limited. His areas of expertise include Economic Research and Financial Analysis, Mobile Banking, SME Finance, Private Equity, and Venture Capital.
Mr. Mekh Bahadur Thapa is a Chartered accountant holding professional memberships of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal. He has more than 8 years of working experience in various fields such as Accounting, Auditing, Financial Analysis and Capital Market. Prior to joining NIBL Capital he worked as Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary of Siddhartha Capital Limited for 3 years. He was one of the core members of the team that setup Siddhartha Capital Limited. As a COO and Company Secretary he was instrumental in the successful launch of its maiden mutual fund scheme and follow on scheme as well. He has worked with SEBON for about 4 years and headed the Financial Information analysis, Management and International Affairs Department. He was also involved in various committees at SEBON and Accounting Standard Board where he contributed to various policies making related work of the Capital Market. He has been teaching Financial Management, Derivatives and Accounting in various colleges. He has participated in Capital Market programs organized in the USA, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India and Nepal.
Mr. Kabindra Dhoj Joshi, hold a MBA/EMBA, and has more than 17 years of experience in the area of merchant banking services. His long experience in the investment banking sector, market relation and knowledge of the capital market has made him valuable asset in the Industry. Prior to his joining NIBL Capital Markets Ltd, he was the General Manager of Growmore Merchant Banker Limited for 5 years. During his tenure, there he was instrumental in establishing Growmore as one of the leading merchant bankers in the country. While there, he handled 23 Initial Public Issues and 43 right issues raising more than NRs. 9000 Million in funds for various companies. He started his career at NIDC Capital Markets Ltd in the year 1998 where he worked for 9 years and handled various responsibilities in various capacities. He joined Ace Development Bank Ltd. as Deputy Manager in 2007 in their Merchant Banking Department and helped the bank to setup their Merchant Banking Businesses. In addition to area of finance, he has also developed a strong understanding of the business management, strategic business alliances and marketing management.
Mr. Pyakurel, has worked with Banking and Capital Market for 14 years. He holds an MA ( Economics) degree and BEd in mathematics from Tribhuwan University. He is also involved in teaching and has been teaching Economics to bachelors and masters level students of Tribhuwan University, Pokhara University and PurwanchalUniversity since last 15 years. He is regularly invited as guest lecturer in various colleges of Nepal. Mr. Pyakurel has exposure to the Banking and Capital Market. Mr. Pyakurel has achived in.-depth knowledge of regulatory mechanism of money market and capital markets ,functionalities of securities issue and trading, securities business and mutual funds.
